SIMSBURY, Conn, 4/13/21 -Gluten-Free New England, LLC presents their Greater Boston EXPO TO-GO on Saturday, May 8th, 2021, 10am-4pm at the Boxboro Regency in Boxborough, MA. 2,000 reusable bags stuffed with gluten-free samples, coupons, and information will be distributed curbside on the day of the event, and shipped nationwide. This is the second Expo To-Go for Gluten-Free New England, which operates www.wickedglutenfree.com, and is the region’s leading resource for healthy gluten-free living.
Owner Abby Helman Kelly created the Expo To-Go when COVID halted large-scale events. “We normally organize huge, in-person food expos with thousands of attendees and tons of sampling,” she explains. “In an effort to keep our audience connected to the best products and services, we’re bagging it all up to-go!” Gluten-Free New England’s first Expo To-Go took place in October 2020 at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, CT, where 2,000 bags were distributed and shipped nationwide.
Each Expo To-Go bag will contain 25 gluten-free samples and full-sized products, including cookies, brownies, healthy snacks, and more. 10+ coupons for gluten-free restaurants and products will also be included, along with educational information from celiac support organizations. “What’s most exciting about this expo-in-a-bag,” Kelly states, is that anyone who couldn’t make it to an expo before, for any reason, anywhere in the continental US, can now have it delivered to their door. That’s a pretty big deal for gluten-free consumers, not to mention businesses, and we’re excited to make it happen.” All moms picking up at the drive-through will receive a small gift. Kelly, a Connecticut resident, launched the business in 2016 to provide a comprehensive resource for the region’s fast-growing gluten-free community and dining scene.
