Fran Peltz Top NYC Psychotherapist Honored by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) as Top Psychotherapist of the Year
NEW YORK, NY - 05/01/2018 — Ms. Frances Peltz, Licensed New York State Psychotherapist announced as "Top Psychotherapist of the Year" for 2018 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the field.
While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations and contributions to their communities
With over three decades of professional experience, we are honored to award Ms. Peltz this accolade as her career has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. As a talented, dynamic, results-driven leader, she has demonstrated success not only with her own practice but also as a Published Author, and Leadership Program Coordinator for Synergy Education Inc.
Over the past few decades, Ms. Peltz has helped her clients resolve childhood wounds, overcome obstacles, decrease symptoms of anxiety, depression, and addiction/eating disorders. She develops a trust with her clients, helping them uncover their true authentic self, leading to self-acceptance, trauma resolution, effect personal change, overcome challenges and help restore balance and harmony in all relationships Ms. Peltz's supportive empathic approach helps her clients use their mind and body in resolving current problems and long-standing patterns through psychodynamic therapy, Somatic Experience, EMDR and hypnotherapy. In 2017, Ms Peltz opened an Integrative Wellness Practice that includes a variety of practitioners that offer services that are tailored and personalized to clients individually needs.
Aside from her day to day responsibilities with her NYC practice, Ms. Peltz also works with Immigration lawyers in providing psychosocial assessments and counseling to immigrant families. With Synergy Education, Ms Peltz runs a three-month training leadership program to groups of successful and motivated adults looking to strengthen their personal, professional and leadership skills. She was also instrumental in creating and running a womens group for five years that focused on empowering women.

Throughout her illustrious career, Ms. Peltz has received awards and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and her commitment to the profession. For 2019 she is being considered to be featured in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and for the Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Association of Top Professionals. For 2018 named Top Psychotherapist of the Year by IAOTP. Ms. Peltz remains active in helping her community and was one of the first women to volunteer for 5 years at Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC) running counseling/support groups for care partners of people with HIV/Aids in 1985 and counseling clients with AIDS.
Aside from her successful career, Ms. Peltz is also a sought-after lecturer, speaker and published author who wrote two books: When Someone you Know has Aids, Crown Publishers, 1987, and a revised edition in 1993, “An article in Counseling Source, A Practical Book: Reference on Contemporary Issues Psychotherapeutic process with HIV and/or Aids Patients and "Caring for Someone with Aids", Encyclopedia Britannica Medical and Science Text.
