Empire Investigations LLC & Inspiring Lives Magazine Team up at The Glass Slippers Ball 2018
PITTSBURGH, PA - 04/20/2018 — On Saturday March 24th, 2018, Empire Investigations LLC CEO, Robert Kresson and Inspiring Lives Magazine Editor-in-chief, President and Founder of the Global Sisterhood non-profit Program, Shellie Hipsky, attended he 15th Anniversary of “The Glass Slipper Ball at the Doubletree by Hilton in Cranberry, PA. This empowering gala event offered over twenty top regional chefs the opportunity to showcase their signature hors d'oeuvres and desserts, along with a samples of fine wines and beers to attendees. The premier event also benefitted some incredibly important women’s initiatives such as Living in Liberty (safe home for trafficked victims) Treasure House Fashions (a women’s clothing re-seller for women in need) and CEED (providing water for women and children in a remote area of Northeast Kenya).
The event was organized and produced by Team Effort Events, an event production company dedicated to producing very special events for women’s initiatives, designed to greatly increase critical funding, community awareness and mutually beneficial relationships for women’s agencies and service organizations. Former restaurateur and current Chairperson, Debra Dion Krischke had the idea to start the event back in 2003 saying, “Wouldn’t it be fabulous to have just the chefs I knew personally give their ‘best effort’ for a fundraiser?”. 15 years and tens of thousands of dollars later to absolutely incredible causes, this event truly provides a great platform to bring awareness and actually help struggling people across the globe.
