UCP Shareholder’s NewsLetter: March/April 2018 Released

NEW YORK, NY - 05/16/2018 — On behalf of the Board of Directors, we welcome our shareholders to the March/April 2018 issue of the UCP Newsletter. Below you will find the most current information as reported by the management of the various companies that fall under our holding company umbrella.

2018 has had a rough start, with clients holding back on their spending, and lower budgets to work with. We continue to pitch for new work and are hopeful that business will pick up again soon.

As always, we thank you for your continued support. ……Ken

Tre Kronor Media Stockholm

A letter from the CEO of Tre Kronor Stockholm:

Dear shareholders:

We can summarize a challenging 1st quarter of the year.

Due to the loss of Kindred Group and Scandinavian Airlines we need to focus more on new business and cost control. We have won two new clients, Lyko and Global Gaming, but we really need one large client coming in before the summer begins.

As to media investments, they are in line with our budget. Thanks to a successful upsell into our insight & research product, we will reach a higher revenue than budgeted for the first quarter.

The investments we did last year in staff are starting to pay off. We now have a strong team that are developing according to plan. But, for the time being we have decided that we will not recruit any more employees and be cautious with extra costs for this year.

On the upside, we have been awarded Media Agency of the year for the 7th time in the last 10 years, which is of course an amazing performance.

The trends for media investments is shown in the media barometer, presented below.

YTD shows a +4.3% in total investments.

The winners so far are Out Of Home (+19.4%), Social Media (+23.0%), Online Video (+20.1.%) and Radio (+25.1%).

Best rgds,

Håkan Jerner

TreKronor Media Denmark

Q1 has been a hectic but joyful quarter. We turned out with a positive result for 2017 which is good for all of us. We have changed offices and now are located in the same building as a highly acknowledged creative agency in Denmark called Umwelt. We are running campaigns for our new clients such as catalogue company Ellos, outlet mall design company McArthur Glen and food company Rügenwalder Mühle. We have also have a new bank client to be announced that we are currently working on campaigns for.

In other news, there were no lost clients in Q1, 2018 to report.

Local Planet – Sweden

As we have stated earlier, Local Planet is still a small entity relative to Tre Kronor, but we look forward to further growth in 2018.

In Sight - Norway

Tre Kronor decided to sell the holdings in In Sight AS and so their updates will no longer be posted.
