LOCAL LOW INCOME KIDS GET READY TO PITCH IDEAS TO SHARK TANK, WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS?

TAMPA, FL - 12/13/2016 — How many kids do you know that have a brilliant expression that looks like a promise of being the next Mark Zuckerberg? Unfortunately, these are the kids that never get noticed.  According to The Tampa Bay Times Nearly 1 million Florida children were living in poverty in 2013.  Jireh Business Consulting, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, announces a new program to address the poverty issues in Tampa Bay.  The Business Adventures of Penne’ Anne’ and Billy published by ASA Publishing Corporation is a first book of its kind that introduces children K-5 to business development education through literacy, technology and music.  The book, just one of a ten book collection on entrepreneurship, will help children experience business development education in a format that they can understand technology.  This book features an app that engages children and their parents in business development through gamification, animated webisodes, and music.

“I was really looking for a way to make literacy, financial responsibility, and business development fun as well as help children understand the necessity of business development in our economy” states CEO and visionary behind the project.  The Penne’ Anne’ and Billy Project is dear to her heart as she has seen firsthand as a former Human Services professional the need for low income children to access poverty prevention resources.  Dr. Brown goes on to say, “I believe that it’s our responsibility as a community of business owners to use a little of our resources to support low income children by giving them access to information about business development.  This helps them grow up with alternative options for self-sufficiency and financial resiliency.”

This program offers services and opportunity for all youth with the business ownership heart to have access to specialized instruction for learning business development in an environment of their peers.  These are the children that will one-day stand before a group like Shark Tank and pitch the next big idea.  As for their parents, they will be fully prepared through this project to become business managers or business partners to their brilliant offspring.  We are asking business owners to become a sponsor for this unique project.
