LOS ANGELES, CA - 04/22/2016 — Mojiuana, the world’s most extensive marijuana-themed emoticon app, is helping mobile users celebrate National Weed Day with over 180 different newly debuted emojis. This week, Mojiuana founders Michelle and Chris Hester, joined by Baby Bash, held a press conference at TLC Collective, a Los Angeles-based medical marijuana dispensary. Michelle Hester discussed the app’s significance and offerings, including celebrity-endorsed packs, a soon-to-launch TLC Collective pack and the company’s Legalized Emojis pack which help promote the movement to make marijuana legal in all states. According to Hester, legalizing marijuana would generate $8.7 billion in federal and state revenue.

“Mojiuana is an innovative new app, filled with tons of emoticons in different styles for diverse personalities,” said Hester. “Our emojis are designed for members of the cannabis community who use marijuana recreationally, but also for those who are passionate advocates for the legalization of cannabis and are active in driving awareness of this expansive national movement.”

The press conference to announce the official launch of Mojiuana was well attended by members of the cannabis community, TLC Collective customers and both local and national media. Baby Bash took photos with fans and distributed “Mojiuana Cures Racism” t-shirts. Attendees also received promo codes to download the newly launched app.

Prior to the press conference, Mojiuana exhibited at High Times Cannabis Cup, showcasing a huge presence at the event, including a performance by celebrity ambassadors Paul Wall and Baby Bash.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled by the support that we’ve received from music lovers and the cannabis community,” said Chris Hester. “The app is really taking off and we’re excited to be able to help mobile users mark National Weed Day in an exciting new way.”

Mojiuana is available for download via the App Store and the Google Play Store. To join the Mojiuana community, connect on www.twitter.com/mojiuana or www.facebook.com/mojiuana.
