With over 2 decades of professional experience in property Development and Investments, Mr. Ehlers has certainly proven himself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. As a dynamic results-driven leader, Mr. Ehlers has demonstrated success not only as a CEO & Managing Director, but has led the Devmark Property Group to be recognized as one of the top property development and investment companies in the Western Cape of South Africa. Mr. Ehlers key responsibilities for Devmark, is handling business strategy, implementation, marketing, project development, financial management, legal matters, property management and overseeing financial execution.
Mr. Ehlers earned his MBA from Stellenbosch University and received his BSoc Sc Degree. For 2018, he was named Top CEO of the Year by IAOTP. For 2016 selected by Bristol Who’s Who as Outstanding Professional of the Year and inducted into Worldwide Branding for his contributions to his industry. For 2013 he was recognized by Worldwide Who’s Who for his outstanding leadership and commitment to property development. In 1998, Mr. Ehlers was recognized for his contributions to property in the Western Cape by the Institute of Marketing Management.
Looking back, Mr. Ehlers attributes his success to his perseverance, mentors he has had along the way, attention to detail and his understanding of the property market in South Africa and internationally. Mr. Ehlers says he has been blessed and he loves doing what he is doing, and feels this is just the beginning. When he is not working he enjoys reading, golfing and traveling. For the future, he will continue to thrive as an entrepreneur and hopes to continue to make a difference in people’s lives anyway that he can.
