While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations and contributions to their communities. With over 25 years of professional experience in the medical field and alternative healing practices, Dr. Murad has certainly proved herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the healthcare industry. She is the pioneer in developing the “Movement is Blessed”© program, which emphasizes using the body’s own natural motion for health and harmony. She originally designed this program to help her immobilized mother, who suffered from back and heart related illnesses. Her specific exercise techniques are based on proven scientific principles, that although our bodies may become physically slow, the internal body cannot slow down because the heart still beats and the internal organs must function to sustain life. She aims to de-stress the heart, detox the organs and improve circulation by using a series of specific small body movements. Dr. Murad says, “If we allow our bodies to remain inactive and immobile, poor circulation is the main cause of a decrease in one’s overall health and wellness.” Her quote in which her program is founded upon is “Life is Movement, Movement is Life.” Her program has shown incredible success and gained recognition nationally and internationally.
Dr. Murad’s MB© is a self-educational program, easy to comprehend and for people of all ages, all fitness levels, and all health conditions. She has travelled globally to attend conferences, seminars and has been invited to speak on numerous occasions about the program. Dr. Murad, recently had the MB program translated to Braille for the visually impaired, translated into Spanish for southern USA. Upcoming translations into other languages, will soon be available. Marium graduated from Fatimah Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, with her Medical Degree.
