“Amazon for Blockchain” Project Releases Key Software
In a conference attended by key investors and media, ODIN CEO Kazuki Hayashi announced the release of a key project software component – the ODIN wallet.
CHINA - 08/08/2018 — “You know our core vision is in building an Amazon for Blockchain projects,” Hayashi told those at the conference. “We must make investing in projects easy, fast, and reliable. The ODIN wallet, released today, is a major step in achieving that vision.”
“This is super news, for a super project,” said Henry Chen, a blockchain developer who attended the conference. “There are so many people now who want to buy cryptocurrency tokens and make some profit, who don’t have the time to sift and judge all the endless information out there. I believe ODIN is going to change all that. This wallet is a milestone in making that change.”
A cryptocurrency wallet is most commonly used for secure storage of both private and public keys, so that its owner can both send and receive digital currency. The new ODIN wallet, released today, is a much more multi-functional piece of software.
Srihari Kapu, ODIN’s IT Manager, and a 2017 Bitcoin Award Winner, gave a short presentation outlining the new wallet’s features and benefits. “Anyone with the wallet will be able to purchase any digital tokens offered on ODIN’s platform, including KYC registration, as needed,” Kapu began. “Additionally, they can use the wallet so send ODIN tokens to the platform and get points for storing them. All tokens held will be clearly displayed.”
“This is fairly standard wallet integration,” Kapu continued. “But where this wallet stands out is in its information capacities. Remember, we want to make things simple and quick for the new wave of blockchain investor. So, the wallet itself will be news feed enabled, including subscription content that filters the kind of contents a user wants most.”
